One solution is a [Basic Income](http://binews.org/ http://binews.org/) — "an income unconditionally granted to all on an individual basis, without means test or work requirement."
A Basic Income would help solve the problem of poverty and climate change, and should be a human right.

- pigeons 12y agoOne theory is that if people aren't forced to expand the economy via polluting methods of producing just to make enough money to live, some of the climate change alleged to be caused in part by that industrial activity will be ameliorated.
