I get bored very quickly. I filter down to three ideas. One that is short-term but teaches me something new; one that is a labor of love; and one that I have determined could make me money. I will work on each one for 2-3 consecutive days, then take a day off from any project, then move on the next one. This keeps me from ceasing to work, either out of boredom or burnout.
