Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad idea?
I open new tabs for a reason - to open another webpage.
This will both annoy me and distract me.
Reading the comments everyone loves the idea and gives basically the same reasons I gave for hating it. Whats wrong with me?
- uptownhr 12y agoDon't think anything is wrong with you. But I think people enjoy random, new and sometimes interesting.
- Kequc 12y agoEveryone has a startup they wish was receiving more publicity, this product does that for free. The problems with it however. Occasionally I have to wait a little while while the page is loading or it fails to load at all. One time I received a js notice informing me that Google Maps is disabled for the website I was currently on. That's enough for me. I don't want to wait for new tabs to open which then sometimes interrupt me.
- blaincate 12y agoAHA! There is a big problem for my usability. I press the tab in chrome to get view my bookmarks and use them. now they are gone ! uninstall !
- uptownhr 12y agoA bookmark link will be added soon. in the meantime you can use chrome://bookmarks/#1
- codazoda 12y agoChrome should fix this. There should be a way to have an app (in a tab) and also to show the bookmarks bar on that one page. Then an option in the app could turn it on and off. Beyond this apps control, probably. A link isn't enough. I need one click access to my bookmarks.
- clark-kent 12y agoI had the same exact reaction
- hansy 12y agoYou don't have to use the extension. I personally see this as a StumbleUpon for startups, which I think is pretty cool.
