  It's not impossible, but it would be really really stupid to forge messages that could conceivably be reconstructed in your motion to the court. It's not that no one has ever done something really really stupid but it's not unreasonable to assume, for now, that the messages are not forged.

True, but apparently even with a court order you can only get text message records from so far back. Two years would definitely be stretching it. The reason I'm skeptical here is because the complaint is very much focused on her being recognized (now) as a cofounder, and the sexual harassment stuff is a convenient bludgeon.
