Since you're shipping certs with the app anyway, why not use a TLS library? Your own protocol is a lot less likely to be correct.

- thegeomaster 12y agoBecause building something like this is a neat challenge. That's not the sole reason; see my reply to your sibling comment for some of my arguments in favor of this.
