Roughly a quarter of the people aged 65+ are working full-time. So, when did 58 become "middle-aged?"
- varjag 17y agoIt is a common figure of speech to refer to people in their late 40s or 50s as middle-aged; common enough to be ingrained in concepts like "middle-age crisis". It is technically correct, since this age represents the midpoint of one's adult life with modern life expectancy.
