Have you thought of the possibility of increasing the difficulty after each subsequent request from the same IP address?
- DominoTree 12y agoIf the backend is based on http://www.hashcash.org/ http://www.hashcash.org/ then it should be trivial to do so.
- hippich 12y agoYou can require arbitrary complexity and therefore if you implement logic which will increase complexity every time username/password are not valid, you should be able to achieve just that. Checkout jQuery plugin github repository for details on available options.
