Why does the title slide show a ship flying a US flag? He obviously has correct pictures, because they are in the later slides...

  I suppose the ship on the title slide is "the one that sails" (it's not the Vasa).

  Because it is a pretty picture and the ship with the US flag represents the sailing part in the title of the presentation.
