First instinct was to compare against websites of other programming languages, and (despite the poor choice of mascot) it occurs to me that I'm not really sure what a good programming language website would look like...
Ruby: http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/ http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/ (points for having sample code obviously placed!)
Python: http://www.python.org/ http://www.python.org/
Haskell: http://www.haskell.org/ http://www.haskell.org/
Erlang: http://erlang.org/ http://erlang.org/
Perl5: http://www.perl.org/ http://www.perl.org/
PHP: http://www.php.net/ http://www.php.net/

- biotech 17y agopoints for having sample code obviously placed! Cheers to that! Every programming language home page should have a quick way of getting to simple sample code. Erlang does a decent job of this: "Getting Started" -> "Getting started quickly" gives you source right away. Most P/L sites do not make it easy to find a code sample.
