Both? IMO the old-growth forests of the Pacific Northwest (which, granted, is much larger than just Seattle) is the sort of sight/sound/smell one should experience in their lifetime. Having lived in dry, brown California, and now in concrete jungle Manhattan, a hike in the hills of the PNW sounds positively divine right now.
