> It's one of the most beautiful places on the planet,
When people say this, do they literally mean one of the most beautiful places on Earth, or do they really mean really beautiful? This might be an obtuse question, but the literal interpretation of it feels a bit... well.
- potatolicious 12y agoBoth? IMO the old-growth forests of the Pacific Northwest (which, granted, is much larger than just Seattle) is the sort of sight/sound/smell one should experience in their lifetime. Having lived in dry, brown California, and now in concrete jungle Manhattan, a hike in the hills of the PNW sounds positively divine right now.
