With all these blockchain based permanent storage service the question that always comes to me is: What happens when someone uploads Cheese Pizza? What about copyrighted content?
- gk1 12y agoThat ran through my mind too. Getting paid for your unused storage sounds nice, but what happens when illegal content ends up on your drive?
- martindale 12y agoThe idea of "illegal" content will fade, replaced by methods that introduce scarcity to digital assets.
- super3 12y agoData is not stored on the blockchain in our system. Simply "file pointers".
- ceejayoz 12y agoThat argument hasn't worked well for torrent sites.
- kibibu 12y agoPresumably "Cheese Pizza" is slang for child exploitation material?
