I would guess that most contemporary philosophers do not fall into this traps but naturally they get no attention. Why? Journalists/ Interested parties ask philosopher about the mind/body problem, the matter of truth, god.... and if 9 out 10 answer that there is no real problem just misconceptions then the journalist will go to the 10th one who will get air time.
