This is a ridiculous situation and as an Irish person I would say, a gross violation of our sovereignty. It's bad enough that GCHQ and the NSA do it on a daily basis anyway, now the US is trying to do it via the legal route. Imagine the uproar if China or Russia decided to do the same to data held on US servers...
