The question I have is how different the solar roadways, designed with this in mind, would behave from running heating elements through concrete or asphalt? Could they get an order of magnitude difference?
- dredmorbius 12y agoTheir proposal is running heating elements through the roadbed. The heaters are even on different circuits from the solar elements. The only difference is that the top layer is glass rather than concrete / asphalt.
