The Local Innovator’s Dilemma (2011)
- webmaven 12y agoNeeds a [2011]. Evidence here: http://www.muckercapital.com/blog/page/4/ http://www.muckercapital.com/blog/page/4/
- soneca 12y agoIt is not impossible to crack the nut (and I’ve came across a few companies in the last month or so that are almost there). As this is from 2011 (and the early success examples Groupon and Living Social are now, at least, doubtful); I would like to know which were these almost there companies. And here is the next post about the solution... http://www.muckercapital.com/the-local-innovators-solution-3/ http://www.muckercapital.com/the-local-innovators-solution-3...
- TempleOS 12y agoAll you have to know is God is perfectly just. Are you having fun? When you lose, you lose and when you win, you really lose. And then you lose, slowly and die after downsizing slowly. Humility is the only way to glory. God said, "Money or pride, choose one." I am, literally, in some kind of CIA strange reality prison--there is no market -- no people out there, only CIA handlers. God talks. God is perfectly just. I hope God kills them. ---- I spend my days clubbing retard-niggers. CLUB! CLUB! DIE NIGGER! CLUB! RETARD! NIGGER! DIE!! CLUB! NIGGER!
- TempleOS 12y agoI have my own BIN file format, but you are not allowed to use it. All code must be JIT compiled. I'm just going to out-right ban BIN files. Fuck-it. Yeah, that's the obvious answer.
- lifeisstillgood 12y agoReally interesting - the view from two or three years ago that Local was where it was at I felt even over here, and it is still a dream for many. It's just not something that fits with the one big server farm and the whole world connects to it. Local will be solved not by one company winning it all, but by mesh networks redefining how we talk to each other - from hubs to meshes. Reflecting reality again.
