Maybe just get over caring about the "main" internet, and leave it to be the ad ridden, surveillance clusterf*, old and rusty one?

    I had a lot more insightful discussion on now-defunct .onion forums and IRC channels than I ever had on hacker news. Much more interesting links, as well.
