- ffreire 12y agoHave you given YouCompleteMe a shot? http://valloric.github.io/YouCompleteMe/ http://valloric.github.io/YouCompleteMe/
- leorocky 12y agoYouComplete does not currently work with neovim as neovim does not ship with python bindings yet.
- ffreire 12y agoSure, but unless I'm misunderstanding the parent commenter they were asking for a vim plugin, not a neovim plugin right?
- natebrennand 12y agoIt's worth noting they appear to be working closely [1] with Valloric to ensure that vim plugins will easily work with NeoVim. [1] https://github.com/neovim/neovim/pull/582 https://github.com/neovim/neovim/pull/582
- ben336 12y agoYCM is great. Depending on the language though you may need additional plugins to get "smart" completion into Vim. For instance, tern.js does this for Javascript: [1]: http://ternjs.net/ http://ternjs.net/
- adamors 12y agoI use neocomplete[1] myself. It needs a Vim compiled with Lua support (there's also a Lua-less version) and is quite good. [1] https://github.com/Shougo/neocomplete.vim https://github.com/Shougo/neocomplete.vim
- jbeja 12y agoYouCompletemeMe plugin can work very well with Eclim.
