Pingdom uses AWS. There's a million of services and platforms (e.g.: Heroku) that don't work on IPv6 because AWS doesn't support it in EC2 (and services built upon EC2 like RDB and whatnot). I'm not sure how we can talk AWS into supporting IPv6 :)
