Andreessen is a "grand master" when it comes to tech/startups. I really do respect his insights, he's obviously a very intelligent person. However, in this case, it seems Andreessen is not much of a student of history and government. Anyone that listens to Dan Carlin's "Hardcore History" and "Common Sense" podcasts will know how dangerous these government powers can be.
