Ask HN: Anyone else getting "Activation Error" on iOS 8?

I got iOS 8 for my iPod Touch 5th Gen to test apps on, but every time I plug it into my computer I get an "Activation Error" and I have to do a hard reboot. Is anyone else experiencing this as well?
