Same here, though I am an immigrant(been living in NYC), nobody has ever told me that I speak Ebonics.
- bane 12y agoA surprising number of immigrant groups pick up elements of Ebonics in their English dialects. In my area non-Black groups with notable dialectal markers typical of Ebonics seem to include Vietnamese, Koreans, Salvadorians and various Arab groups (not as common).
