Mathematics professors can't do accounting, because they don't know the relevant regulations etc. Similarly, A CS professor may not know the popular javascript library of the day etc, but I find it to be a myth and stereotype that educated computer scientists can't program. When pressed, no one is able to give real world examples. Every actual CS professor is a counterexample though.
