This is why tipping is very silly. It's arbitrary, not proportional to effort, not everyone tips equally, and most people get excluded. It usually seems to me like it is sympathy money. "wow you have a go-no-where job. Here's a few extra bucks" Ideally there would be zero tipping and people would just get paid more.
