Why is this on HN frontpage? It's a reactionary protest from a customer who was has suffered inconvenience at the hands of 'the system'. Anyone who has done extensive flying in economy class will have similar experiences, or at least missing baggage. From my experience of travel in other countries, including India, a travel delay of this nature is the norm. Perhaps the OP is holding European transport efficiency to a higher account than those of his own country?
