This seems like just another case of "mine is bigger than yours is".... Of course the US's economy is still bigger. A large part of this economy is also nonsense (see... legal fees). A large part of China's economy is nonsense also. Empty structures, excessive stimulation etc. I look forward to the day when the realization that the planet is really small and all of us are in this together is common wisdom. Until then I guess it's foolish cock waving which occasionally turns into shooting and wanton squandering of non-renewable resources.
