The only lessons and areas that i ever remember from my youth, or any other time, has been when: 1) I was given the freedom to take my time and play around with the ideas for however long i wanted 2) Had no one breathing down my neck Having to adopt such tools shows the failure of the education system in keeping students interested. With the lack of freedom goes the willingness to explore and with that goes innovation. I am feeling quite frightened for my kids right now.
