There appears to be billions to be made in profits from anti cancer drugs, no surprise that companies are spending like crazy on cancer research. On finding replacements / alternatives for our fast reducing arsenal of effective antibiotics - not so much. We are on the brink of a very scary phase in modern medicine - where antibiotics may soon become almost useless and very little is being done about it because it is not profitable.
