I recently discovered Tcl and it immediately struck me as a refinement of the "stringly typed" design behind the Unix shell.
I've been wondering if it would be a good idea to try building a modern fish-style [1] shell aimed primarily at interactive use and one-liner expressiveness based on a Tcl interpreter. (I tried eltclsh and it's close but not quite that out of the box.)
