I still have my 1980's one -- it is pretty beat up. Seriously, though, buy a DaiYan Guhong or DiaYan Zhanchi speedcube. They are sooo much more enjoyable to use than the official Rubik's cube. (Then again, if you're like me, they will just add to the pile of cubes...)
