Personally, I think Lustig has gotten a bit shrill in his attempt to get notice for his discoveries and observations. I can forgive him for that. For myself, I accepted his premise and did my own experiment: by making a minimal attempt to stay away from most sugar, I've lost 15 lbs in the last year and a half.
