I sure wonder what makes web development such a problem. It's not any one bit, it's the fundamental design upon which it was all built. We're stuffing applications into a document viewer. A very good document viewer that has through the path of least resistance had more and more tacked on until it evolved into the terrible application VM we know it as today.
