This argument is completely ridiculous.
Control of how a person consumes content that they legally own is incidental. If a company can force you to buy content rather than pirating, they will make a lot more money. Controlling the exact manner in which you consume that content is the icing on the cake.
- josteink 12y agoControlling the exact manner in which you consume that content is the icing on the cake. I'd rather put that as "attempting to control the exact manner in which you consume that content is how you lose valuable business". But that's just me.
