Moto E & Moto G, both are very well designed, hot selling items in developing countries. They offer so much more value for that price point than ANY of the competitors. Granted you'd find pain points but the fact is, they are providing a quality user experience to the masses at a fraction of the cost. I think a first time budget user deserves a quality UI with a great touch experience to start with. (I'm looking at the sluggish Samsung etc. models at this price point with crappy touch experience).
