Yep. My parents live a half hour outside Wilmington, NC, and they can't even get Hughes (satellite Internet). They currently pay $90/mo for 2gb of Verizon wireless data. Their only other choice is DirecTV's offering, which is priced similarly and also metered. On the other hand, my brother in Wilmington has Time Warner, and I can't even SSH out, at least with whatever default setup they hooked him up with.
