Do people still talk about nth-generation languages outside explaining why Forth is called Forth? I thought it was mostly history by now.
- Xophmeister 13y agoFrom my experience, the only time I've heard it nowadays is from people who were taught how to code by people who haven't coded since at least the 80s and never went on to develop the skill either professionally or as a hobby. So, yes, very much a historical relic!
