I see the value as twofold: a) being inspired [by the right kind of founders, not get-rich-quick schemes] and pumped up. It could mean the difference between launching your startup and staying in your comfy day job b) random encounters of other people who are more like you than most people you meet everyday. That also has tremendous value. But you'll never know if you never show up.
