Totally agreed with #1. I think it's easy to forget how deeply you need to get calculation and symbol manipulation into your fingers so you don't get stuck late

Totally agreed with #1. I think it's easy to forget how deeply you need to get calculation and symbol manipulation into your fingers so you don't get stuck later on.
- sliverstorm 12y agoIt would be like trying to learn "software engineering" with a weak understanding of syntax and variable manipulation. You can do it, but you are building on top of a house of cards.
