Everyone needs MSI eventually. It's the only thing that works properly with SCCM / MOM and you WILL end up with some corporate deployment that requests an MSI.

Everyone needs MSI eventually. It's the only thing that works properly with SCCM / MOM and you WILL end up with some corporate deployment that requests an MSI. As for WiX and MSI, it throws out bundles as well (.exe containing MSI bootstrapper) if you want to do anything complicated which means you're up shit creek anyway.
