The issue with this is that you still expose your gmail address (not very professional). The recipient will see something like "Sent from name@domain.com on behalf of username@gmail.com".
- spindritf 12y agoNot necessarily. Google pushes that option because it's easier to set up but you can send from Gmail through your registrar's or whoever's SMTP server. Your Gmail account acts like an e-mail client in that scenario.
