The GP was making the assumption that the kickstarter backers were evenly distributed among the 50 states.
- dragonwriter 12y agoThat's kind of a weird assumption (even if you assume that all of the backers were from one of the fifty states -- and not from, say, DC, any other part of the US that isn't a state, or any foreign country -- it would be more natural to assume that they'd be distributed proportionately with the population of the various states than an even number per state. Anyhow, per the suit, approximately 31 of 810 -- closer to 1/26 than 1/50 -- of the backers reported that they lived in Washington at the time they chose to back the project.)
