Wasn't this news a few weeks ago?
- dang 12y agoIt does look like it [1]. We'll kill this as a dupe if someone points out a previous story with a significant discussion, but not otherwise. We did, however, change the url from [2], which stopped responding and mostly points to the GitHub page anyway. 1. https://hn.algolia.com/?q=nasa+code#!/story/sort_by_date/0/nasa%20code https://hn.algolia.com/?q=nasa+code#!/story/sort_by_date/0/n... 2. http://code.nasa.gov/project/ http://code.nasa.gov/project/
- dalke 12y agoYes. About 3 weeks ago there were postings like https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7569226 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7569226 . The history of postings shows "NASA will publish a software catalog", "NASA has published a software catalog", and "NASA has published source code on a NASA site." The variation this time is these are the projects listed at http://code.nasa.gov/project/ http://code.nasa.gov/project/ which are under the NASA account at github. This is incomplete, as the actual NASA site also includes references to other github accounts, and to non-github repositories.
