We are a YC- and Google Ventures-backed startup that helps companies import products from other countries.
Our mission is to bring the world free trade through technology. Our app gives companies the tools to conduct global trade without regard for geographic distance, logistical complexity or regulatory barriers.
We’ve reached product-market fit, with almost 500 customers signed up to use our platform to manage their imports.
Now it’s time to scale.
We are hiring engineer #2, so this is a high-impact and high-ownership opportunity with a very competitive salary and solid benefits.
If you’re a talented software engineer interested in solving real-world problems, we may be the perfect place for you to come and do the best work of your life.
You would be tasked with creating tools to make it easier for companies of all sizes to participate in global trade.
Projects in our pipeline include creating a booking engine for ocean and air freight, integrating service offerings from partners into our platform, developing APIs customers can use to connect our logistics services with their inventory and accounting systems, implementing OCR and other technologies to make our operating teams more effective, analyzing data on global trade flows, and more.
We have also recently won access to the Watson API from IBM, and plan to apply it’s machine learning capabilities to help classify products and further automate the processes of global trade.
If this sounds interesting, you should come meet us to learn how you might get involved.
Our office is based in San Francisco near the ballpark and Caltrain station.
In addition to generous equity plans and competitive salaries, we offer the chance to do your life’s work in an atmosphere that encourages personal freedom and responsibility.
