  Absolutely. My coworkers and I all get cold calls and cold e-mails from recruiters who find our names/occupations on LinkedIn. I'm assuming these recruiters are using premium accounts and paying to send e-mails through LinkedIn.

    For what it's worth, I get many more/worse emails and calls from people who scraped my github profile.

      At least the people scraping my Github profile tends to have a slight idea about what languages I tend to work with.
