I have never found it to work in visual/interactive development. A lot of the time you are working on something you evolve as you develop, try, iterate again.

I have never found it to work in visual/interactive development. A lot of the time you are working on something you evolve as you develop, try, iterate again. I can see it's benefits if you have a simpler I/O for your code.
