Remember, twitter is an SMS mailing list. You want to be able to send that data in a way it can be picked up from simple mechanisms like SMS messages.
- chrischen 17y agohmmm... I guess that's a good reason. But what other use is there besides SMS?
- trezor 17y agoPhones have been able to recieve SMSes longer than 140 characters for about a decade now. Limiting a service on the internet because 0.1% of the users want SMS notification on decade old phones is stupid and backwards.
