actually, if (! isset(IDEMPOTENT_COMMANDS[$cmdname])) otherwise you'll get an undefined index notice :)

  Indeed. My PHP-fu is a bit rusty... I tested `if(NULL)...` in the REPL and since it was working, I left it at that.
