What are "reverse tabs"?
- hayksaakian 13y agoThe parent is implying that safari style tabs are the proper version, and that chrome, Firefox, and IE are using 'reverse tabs'
- djur 13y agoFor people who haven't used Safari, like me: http://screenshots.en.sftcdn.net/en/scrn/107000/107752/safari-tab-reloader-9.png http://screenshots.en.sftcdn.net/en/scrn/107000/107752/safar... It appears that "Safari-style tabs" are tabs that extend down from the address bar, not up from it.
- tambourine_man 13y agoActually, Chrome invented them and everyone followed. Safari is just the only one that didn't.
- crazysim 13y agoIt followed for a little bit during a few betas and then didn't from what I recall.
- math0ne 13y agoFirefox had this long before chrome was even out...

- jannes 13y agoChrome didn't invent tabs on top of the address bar. As far as I know Opera did, which had them in version 7 from as far back as 2003. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Opera_7.02.png http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Opera_7.02.png
- blueskin_ 13y agoTabs on top like chrome. I don't care where the tabs go by default, as long as we have an option to move them if we want. Unfortunately, as Mozilla are turning into google, they have decided choice is evil and bad.
