I'm rather disappointed in GitHub allowing one of their founders and top executives to be run out of town over a wrongful controversy contrived by a disgruntled ex-employee with a bone to pick.
- SnakeDoc 12y agoIt won't be the last time an ex-employee paints a target on GitHub. A better and stronger response was needed here.
- dougmccune 12y agoAnd what about this part? "GitHub’s CEO acted inappropriately, including confrontational conduct, disregard of workplace complaints, insensitivity to the impact of his spouse's presence in the workplace, and failure to enforce an agreement that his spouse should not work in the office. There were also issues surrounding the solicitation of GitHub employees for non-GitHub business and the inappropriate handling of employee concerns regarding those solicitations." If that described the CEO of my company I'd want him out too. And that's GitHub's own words.
