I realized that my comment was disingenuous because I just got a $500 CareCredit line for my pet. So the first time I used credit in 6 years was for a medical emergency. I'm not sure what that means for my overall life, but the one reason I would probably take an office job at this point is because the prospect of being powerless to save someone in an emergency is unsettling.
